The Moth Math ~
When one adds up the amount and frequency of spraying upon us the math adds up to some super number that equates to serious health concerns...
Regarding Foray 48B Spraying currently undergoing our atmosphere here in BC Canada, specifically the Coast Mtns and Vancouver Island.
I've always been a canary sensitive and reactive to all things not natural from perfumes to artificial sweeteners...
I'm also aware of shifts in the environmental field to those who react but cannot communicate their struggles. Like this brown bushtit…
I feed the birds, regularly to help them make it through the winter - I know this alone can be controversial and I didn’t start doing this until the past 4 years when I noticed a huge decline in birds and especially the honey bees. I wanted to make sure some made it through winter because for some reason, they were struggling - even worse than the humans these days.
My Anna’s Hummingbird - appropriately named Bonaparte - he was very defensive of all feeders on my deck and would not share - as if his life depended on it! He did bring his wife and 3 offspring back for 3 years in a row… haven’t seen him much this year, if it’s him or another Bonaparte type character…
On April 28th was the day scheduled for the Foray 48B to occur in Langdale BC, just 5 mins drive from my location.
Within 2 days, I noticed from my feeder needing a refill at least once to not being finished. A serious drop in bird activity in my yard also. Now I realize this is subjective awareness only and not a science experiment. Along with this and at the same time, my body went into ‘healing shutdown mode.’ Which means I go into body resistance to fighting ‘something’ that feels like it wants to take me down.
So I dabbled and discussed with a few others some information about Foray 84B you may want to do your own to confirm my findings, please share if you do, or discount them openly if you find an error!
Many of the chemicals listed in the image can have potential health risks depending on their concentration and the duration of exposure.
Here are a few general risks associated with some of the types of compounds mentioned:
1. Acetic Acid Derivatives: Can cause skin and respiratory irritation. Prolonged or repeated exposure might lead to more severe respiratory issues.
2. Cyclosiloxanes (e.g., hexamethylcyclotrisiloxane, dodecamethylcyclohexasiloxane): These compounds are used in many consumer products, including cosmetics. Some studies suggest certain types might be endocrine disruptors, and they might impact human and environmental health.
3. Benzoic Acid and Derivatives: Generally regarded as safe in small quantities (commonly used as a food preservative), but in higher concentrations, it can irritate the eyes, skin, and respiratory tract.
4. Butylated Hydroxytoluene (BHT): Commonly used as an antioxidant in foods and personal care products. It is considered safe in small amounts but might be carcinogenic at high doses.
5. Phenylamine Derivatives: Exposure to these chemicals can cause respiratory issues and skin irritation. Some derivatives might be toxic or carcinogenic.
6. Trisiloxane and Related Compounds: Used in various applications, including agriculture and manufacturing. These can be irritants and potentially harmful to aquatic life.
7. Cyclohexanone: Exposure can irritate the skin, eyes, and respiratory system. It might also affect the nervous system with symptoms such as headache, dizziness, and nausea.
8. Ethers and Alcohol Derivatives: These can be irritants and have various health effects depending on their specific chemical structure.
9. Phosphine and Derivatives: Highly toxic gases that can cause severe respiratory distress and other systemic effects.
To determine specific health risks, one would need to consider the exposure context (e.g., industrial, laboratory, environmental) and consult safety data sheets (SDS) that provide detailed health hazard information for each specific chemical compound.
I also wrote
and asked him if he knew of any specific research on impacts of Foray 48B on humans and other impacts.I found this book:

See especially pages 29-34, a thorough review of the harms to humans from spraying Foray 48B, with lots of references. It's also from New Zealand.

Now from what I can see is this is just about impossible to revoke this as our Ministry of Forests requested and received approval - was that our very one and the same Ministry of Health has approved this contract for spray?
OR who approved this spraying?
A friend dug in deeper as assistance to my desire to know how bad things could be in this Foray 84B Spray zones ~ check this out!
Foray 48B Data Sheet information directly from Valent Biosciences website:
"4.1 Description of First Aid Measures”
GENERAL: In all cases of doubt, seek medical attention.
EYES: Remove from source of exposure. Flush with copious amounts of water. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing. If irritation persists or signs of toxicity occur, seek medical attention. Provide symptomatic/supportive care as necessary.
SKIN: Remove from source of exposure. Take off contaminated clothing. Flush with copious amounts of water. Cover irritated skin with an emollient. If irritation persists or signs of toxicity occur, seek medical attention. Provide symptomatic/supportive care as necessary.
INGESTION: Remove from source of exposure. Move person to fresh air. Do NOT induce vomiting. Give large quantities of water. If signs of toxicity occur, seek medical attention. Provide symptomatic /supportive care as necessary."
"6.2 Environmental Precautions
Keep out of drains, sewers, ditches and waterways. Avoid runoff to waterways and sewers.
Dispose of excess product and wash waters according to local regulations."
I just wonder, other than the website announcement of spray schedules if the zones that are being sprayed are adequately informed with signage, notices and the likes?

"This aerial spray which is being proposed to control our current (LDD) infestation, and is scheduled to be sprayed throughout Mississauga and several other cities throughout Ontario on May 24th, 2022, through two applications 7-10 days after the initial spray, must be revisited or Canadians which have already been exposed to various forms of this potential contaminate, as a recent Canadian study found traces of this biological insecticide in the umbilical cord blood of 93% of pregnant women, may face even further health implications."
------------
PubMed.gov, Titled: Symptom complaints following aerial spraying with biological insecticide Foray 48B, where it clearly states the following under the conclusion section of this document:
“significant increases in upper airway, gastrointestinal, and neuropsychiatric symptoms, as well as a reduction in overall perception of health in the exposed population.”
-------------
"What we found particularly concerning after reading Foray 48B’s Safety Data Sheet was section 12.1 where it clearly states “Do not allow into waterways or lakes” but yet this insecticide/pesticide is planned to be sprayed heavily in the Port Credit Region of Mississauga which is directly connected to Lake Ontario, and section 11.1 that states "toxicological effects are likely through, inhalation, eye contact and skin contact" which are all highly likely when this substance is being sprayed from overhead." (and adequate notices to the public in these regions are not provided)!

"Aim: To investigate the effect of aerial Bacillus thuringiensis (Foray 48B) spraying on self-reported symptom complaints, health perceptions, and visits to healthcare providers.
Methods: Two hundred and ninety two residents within the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MAF) West Auckland spray zone were recruited by a door-to-door survey of homes within the most intensively sprayed area ten weeks prior to the first aerial spraying. Participants completed a symptom checklist and a questionnaire measuring health perceptions. Three months after the start of spraying, 181 (62%) of the original participants responded to a similar postal questionnaire. Symptom reports, health perceptions and visits to healthcare providers were compared between the baseline and the follow-up questionnaire. Rates of symptom complaints in respondents with previously diagnosed asthma, hay fever, or other allergies were compared to those in respondents without these prior health conditions.
Results: Symptom complaints increased significantly following the aerial spraying, in particular: sleep problems, dizziness, difficulty concentrating, irritated throat, itchy nose, diarrhoea, stomach discomfort, and gas discomfort. Analyses showed a significant increase in symptoms in those participants with a previous history of hay fever. While overall self-ratings of health decreased following the spraying, most residents saw their health as unaffected by the spray programme, and there was no significant increase in visits to general practitioners or alternative healthcare providers.
Conclusions: Aerial spraying with Foray 48B is associated with some adverse health consequences in terms of significant increases in upper airway, gastrointestinal, and neuropsychiatric symptoms, as well as a reduction in overall perception of health in the exposed population."

"The MDA and other agencies like it, would have us believe that the Foray 48b dissipates in a matter of 30 minutes and certainly in a matter of days. This is either complete ignorance on their part or a lie because there are studies that confirm viable Btk spores have been found airborne in and near a spray zone for up to a year. That means we could be breathing this stuff till 2017 in Ely.
Not only that, but viable Btk spores have also been found 24 hours post spray INSIDE sealed buildings. That means inside houses and stores and schools and even the hospital."

"There's a new allergen in Monsanto's BT corn. What is BT corn? If you gather certain soil bacteria and you spray it on crops during times of infestation of certain pests. The pests will eat it and it'll bore holes in their guts and kill them. It's called BT for bacillus thuringiensis, the name of the bacteria. You can buy it at a garden store and spray it, and it says “do not take internally”. Duh! But, the biotech industry decided to give it to all of us internally. They took the gene that produced the BT toxin, made it more potent, inserted it into corn, and it's now in every cell of their BT corn plant. And it produces a toxin that drills holes in the guts of insects to kill them. When you spray the BT on, which they do even in organic agriculture, it biodegrades in a couple of days, it washes off in the rain. When you put it in a GMO, it's encapsulated, and it's thousands of times more concentrated. And when they expose the BT toxin to human cells in a petri dish, it poked holes in those cells. The exact same holes that it creates in insects. So we're eating the BT toxin. In Canada, they took blood that was preserved
and found BT toxin was in the blood of 93 percent of the pregnant women tested. And in 80% of the cord blood which means it was in the unborn fetus. The BT toxin is toxic to red blood cells. How did the BT toxin get into their blood? Maybe it poked holes in the cells creating a kind of a leaky gut and got through those holes. Question: Why would 93% of the pregnant women have BT toxin in their blood? Because it should wash out. It's not Mexico where they eat corn tortillas all the time. Most of the corn eaten in Canada, this was a Canadian study, doesn't have the BT toxin because it's highly refined. There's no toxin protein in corn syrup, corn sweeteners. The people who ran that study guessed it might be the milk, meat and eggs from animals that eat the BT corn every day, and have a reservoir in their system. But, there's another theory. There was concern that if we eat a GMO, genes that were
inserted into that food by transfer to our gut bacteria or to our own DNA. So in the only human feeding study ever done on genetically modified, commercialized food, which is crazy, was one meal. They took people who had colostomy bags, they had their lower intestines removed, not for the study. And they fed them genetically engineered soy, and they were surprised to find how much intact genetically modified DNA ended up in their, it was actually ileostomy bags. Because it was supposed to be broken down during digestion, because that's what Monsanto promised. But, in three of the seven human volunteers, even before they were fed the meal, the gene that was inserted into the soybean that created Roundup resistance, was embedded and integrated into the DNA of the bacteria in their guts. This was in 1998, in the UK, hardly anyone was eating a bunch of GMOs, but three of the seven had it. We don't know if it's widespread, if we're colonizing our gut bacteria with GMO genes. It's not that you create Roundup when you have Roundup resistance, you create a protein that allows Roundup to be sprayed on you, and it doesn't kill whatever. But, what if you eat corn chips from BT corn?
That produces BT toxin from genes in the corn chip, and that corn gene transfers to your gut bacteria, and continues to produce BT toxin 24/7? If we are producing BT toxin in our own gut bacteria, and no one knows, that might explain why 93% of the pregnant women tested had it in their blood, because they may have been producing it inside their own guts. And because it's in the children, the unborn fetuses, now you have a hole-poking-toxin that can be in their brain because there's no blood brain barrier."
I’m sure much of the internet has been scrubbed but there’s still some evidence that demonstrates it can cause serious harm.
