Could this be part of the proof of nefarious deeds when you learn about aviation fuel - go to your local airport fuel station and request a sample and have it tested if you want to be 100% certain!

If you want to test fuel, learn from my mistakes if you want. I went to a local airport and they have a self serve pump. It does come out REALLY fast, so make sure your container is large and has a very large hole, like 3" plus. It is a BIIIIIIGGGGG nozzle. And, more importantly, they only needed like I forget the exact volume, but it was essentially a test tube. 1 or 2 oz, maybe. It is not much.
It was a pay by credit card pump. You cannot use a standard gas can. The nozzle will not fit inside the hole unless the hole is large.
But before you do that, make sure you have a testing location set up. I drove 3 hours there and 3 hours back. And it cost nearly $200. I did not know their testing was in ppm (parts per million). That was measured in mg/kg. My samples came up Non detect (ND). You don't get a number if in ppm. There is so little in it that it won't register the minimum level. The test has to be in ppb, parts per billion to get numbers. Thats micrograms/kg I think.
